Hey you! Thanks for stopping by, my name is Amanda and I’m the person running around behind the scenes at Alpine Lane Creative Studio. My husband (sometimes gets recruited to answer emails or initiate transfers) and I spent the past few years traveling from country to country (with 25 under our belt), and I was given the freedom and opportunity to create a freelance business for myself. Little did I know when I started it all in 2012 I’d be where I am today, a growing and prosperous business, but here I stand looking forward to the future!
I have a passion for clean coding, white space, typography, and minimalism (hey that’s what I got for living out of suitcases for four years I guess). I also have a passion for people…so your dreams become my dreams when we work together. I also think understanding and knowledge for the client is almost more important than the design and development I provide; I want you to feel empowered to be able to DIY in the future! I believe we are never too old to acquire new skills and can’t ever become true ‘experts’ because there’s always something to learn (never stop people).
Alpine Lane started out as The Suitcase Designs, but eventually it outgrew that name as I’ve settled into a daily routine, and am less of a nomad than I used to be. I have my own office where I love to work at 9:00am – 5:00pm every weekday. I design and develop for Blogger and WordPress, focusing mainly on WordPress development using the Genesis framework, but also specialize in website/blog transfers.
