Hey you! Thanks for stopping by, my name is Amanda and I’m the person running around behind the scenes at Alpine Lane Creative Studio. My husband (sometimes gets recruited to answer emails or initiate transfers) and I spent the past several years living on different continents (4 to be exact), and during that time, I was given the opportunity to create a freelance business for myself. I never saw myself as a web designer/developer as I got a BA in Sociology, but here we are. Life is funny like that!
I have a passion for clean coding, white space, typography, and minimalism I also have a passion for people, so your dreams become my dreams when we work together. I also think understanding and knowledge for the client is almost more important than the design and development I provide; I want you to feel empowered to be able to DIY in the future! I believe we are never too old to acquire new skills and can’t ever become true ‘experts’ because there’s always something to learn.
Alpine Lane started out as The Suitcase Designs, but eventually it outgrew that name as I’ve settled into a daily routine, and am less of a nomad than I used to be. I have my own office where I love to work at 9:00am – 5:00pm every weekday. I design and develop for Blogger and WordPress, focusing mainly on WordPress development using the Genesis framework, but also specialize in website/blog transfers.
I believe the key to a great blog/website is user-friendliness, simplicity, and education. Alpine Lane Creative Studio is here to help you be the best you can be in the blogging world. Let’s do this together shall we?
